The entire purpose of this page is to collect all the videos that I have either embedded in a blog entry, a video I took, or a video used by permission from You Tube.

Note: I will only put music here that has a meaning to me, either the words, or the place and time when I heard the song.  If possible, I will explain that meaning in a blog entry.

ENJOY. ……..So, GET UP………DANCE

P.S.:  You are always welcome to go check out my YOU TUBE channel where there are literally hundred of my ”favorite” songs:)

This young man is the mot talented musician I have heard in all my life. Go find his version of the song ”Dark Eyes” on the Album known as HorseShoe Road. It is incredible.

This man was one of the greatest blues guitar players I ever heard. True to the ”curse” on great musicians, he died young in an accident. We all miss him. Stevie Ray Vaughan. aka SRV

Here is combination I never thought I would see. My oldest favorite from Dire Straights, Mark Knopfleur and Chet Atkins.  Hudathunkit. ???

Amazing. The greatest guitar player in the world, Eric Clapton and Pavarotti. This is a song Eric really wrote as a prayer while he was in a rehab center. He says he now gets down on his knees every morning and does it again. It makes me cry almost every time I listen. So beautiful.

Then there are the classics, put together. OMG. This one is The Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton. Now I have to admit that Eric is way up there at the top of my list as the best guitar player ever born. And he can write songs that will bring out every feeling you didn’t know you had inside your soul. I’ll show you some of those too.

One more, for now, on this page. This song is my history. I am from the high mountains in New Mexico, and I used to go up on the bluffs between my hometown and Southern Colorado and WATCH those wild horses run. The song is called “Ponies” and if you don’t see it here, it is not to be found on video. But I can put in an audio link. Just listen to the words. My mantra, “just listen to the words”:

I’m happy that I found it. I’ve looked forever and it finally was just there.

This last is one of the most dramatic art live performances of the making of a sand painting. It is incredible. It is NOT MUSIC. This is a performance artist making art out of throwing sand, not like the Native Americans, which is also beautiful, but fast and furious. Watch. Laughing, NO WORDS

And those kinds of people,, like Stevie, and Kyle, Mick and Mark, and the sand painter;. Those are the reasons I am an artist and a musician.
