10 to 10 in Delhi
I visited ’10 to 10 in Delhi’ – an Indian cafe in Newington – a few months ago. I don’t think I ever uploaded any of my pictures from it before.
It’s quite lovely – nice food and hot drinks, and comfy with a pleasantly chilled out atmosphere. They’ve really gone out of the way to make it seem desi, from the language used in the menu to the drapes and Bollywood memorabilia covering the walls. It verges on kitsch, and it could quite easily have been Irish-theme-pub annoying, but it’s more authentic than that and they actually pull it off pretty well.

I love the riotous sense of color in the photo. The beautiful colors in the foreground re such a stark contrast to the food counter in the back.
