This morning I woke up and headed out to catch a sunrise again, with no real direction. I had no real plans….. Maybe try here…. Maybe try there….. All I knew was I wanted to get out and watch the sun come up as last nights storm cleared out.
There is no real “story” to this image. I’ve passed this pier a few times, and knew a sunrise would be good from here, but Its not really on my way to work, and I have to pass through San Francisco to get here. So basically, I get caught up waiting for sunrise from some other place. But this morning I wanted to get to a place that I have yet to shoot from.

This is one of my favorite of my flower photos. It is hard to even tell that it is a flower. The depth of field is such that it is similar to a watercolor painting.
