Very Close Macro of Small Branch on the Mountain

As I climbed up that very steep mountain, using the tripod as a cane, I kept looking down at my feet to make sure I didn’t trip and fall. I had intended to get to a fairly high vantage point and take a photo of the little town of Breckenridge, Colorado. But as I climbed, looking down, I kept seeing these beautiful colors. I knew they were not even considered wild flowers, just weeds, but then I started thinking, ”MMM, wonder what that would look like with a macro lens, shot at about an inch away, to blur the background. This and the next are the result. They are some of my favorite photos.
